This was a day of traveling.
We chartered a boat (100soles, S$50, US$40) to bring to the nearest Peninsula.
On the boat.
The boatman and his 16 years old daughter.
The nearest Peninsula.
Checked - Swimming in Lake Titicaca.
It was freezing, and we removed 3 layers of clothes (including a thermal cloth and a jacket) before jumping in. The experience was unforgettable - FREEZING. The cold water gripped my whole body tightly. The locals were laughing at us. Haha. =)
Election!
We had to walk from the shore to the nearest town (hoping to find a transport to Puno).

The walk was quite pleasant.
Nice scenery.
Small town
Very nice view =)
On the mini-van from the town to Puno.
Lunch in Puno.
Love the Blue Sky and the view of Lake Titicaca
On the bus from Puno to the border.
=)
Some of the beautiful things in life are free.
Blue Sky & White Clouds.
Crossing the border from Peru to Bolivia.
Ciao Peru and Hola Bolivia!
At the Bolivian custom, HY & I had to pay 350 Boliviano (S$70, US$56) for the visa, while PY did not have to pay for it, as she had an email from the embassy stating that Singaporeans do not require visa. Even though both HY & myself are holding Singapore passports, the custom officials said that the email only applies for PY. Corruption!!!
Well, I did not want to delay our travel (as it was getting dark) and I knew that it was useless to argue. Frankly, I was not unhappy at all and accepted such experience as part of the traveling. =)
3 of us seated on the floor and cramped in the back of hatchback vehicle.
From border to Capacabana, Bolivia.
Sunset view
From Capacabana to La Paz, Bolivia

We arrived in La Paz at around 9plus - after 15 hours of traveling.
